Regular attendance of scheduled therapy sessions is critical to patient progress. As a result, to better serve our growing number of patients and their families, we require everyone to follow our 85% attendance policy and respect our 24-hour cancellation policy.

Cancellations: Please provide 24 hours notice to the clinic by calling (405) 252-0404 for all cancellations. We understand that illness and emergencies happen. If 24 hours notice is not possible, please call as soon as you can. We often have patients waiting to be seen who could use your cancelled appointment time. Voicemail is available for you to leave a message 24 hours a day.

Attendance: All patients must maintain 85% attendance for therapy appointments. One cancellation a month, when rescheduled within the following week, is permitted, and will not count against the 85% attendance requirement. We will work together to reschedule any cancelled/missed appointments. This may mean that another therapist could see your child depending on the rescheduled time and availability. We will discuss the options with you when you call to cancel. As an added convenience, you also have the option to reschedule the appointment within these guidelines using your online client portal. Our goal with this policy is to ensure adequate patient progress and allow for our therapists to appropriately plan for all sessions.

No Shows and Late Arrivals: Three “no shows” for scheduled appointments will result in the loss of your standing appointment time, placement at the bottom of our waiting list and the possibility of discharge. When you fail to provide cancellation notification by phone prior to your appointment time, this is considered a no show. Should you arrive more than 15 minutes late, Resilience Speech Therapy Services, PLLC reserves the right to cancel your appointment.

Resilience Speech Therapy Services, PLLC reserves the right to discharge patients who do not maintain 85% attendance or who violate the “no show/no call” policy. We understand that unexpected circumstances occur and are happy to work with each of you on a case-by-case basis.
